Stag Explorer Scout Unit (ESU) aims to provide young people aged 14-18 with the opportunity to take on more adventurous activities from rock climbing to sailing we’ve done it all! 

We pride ourselves on our international experience, in previous years we have visited; Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, France and Slovenia. And we’ve got plans to go further!

Explorers do a wide range of things but by this age range, the emphasis has changed to allow them to play a big part in deciding what they want to do as a unit. There are no real limits to what can be done – we regularly go camping, do day visits, and even just chill out together round a camp fire!

We’re also a Duke of Edinburgh centre so if you’re looking for a challenge we’ve got you covered.
